CNET NEWS--BP on Facebook

BP America BP’s High Interest Technology Team (HITT) continues to sort through thousands of ideas to aid the oil spill response. Currently, the group’s top priority is finding a solution to recover oil before it hits the beaches. One promising method being used involves imaging and sonar technologies that survey underneath the water and enable sampling for the presence of oil. Many of them were on unemployment or just didn't work and heard it was good money. I know I have some Winners working with us,lol.     • Jason Monk No they have not. Because of the work conditions the ACLU would have claimed it violated the inmates safe work rights. There is the liability also. An inmates family could sue the state for allowing their family member to work on this spill if anything happened....ANYTHING! Heat stress, heat stroke, exposure to chemicals. Plus the inmates can claim anything is wrong and blame it on the COREXIT and try to sue the sate.
