ARTs Process--Evaluating Oil Spill Containment and Cleanup Ideas

BP's Alternative Response Technology call center has fielded over 100,000 suggestions -- from as far away as Russia, France and Germany -- on ideas to help mitigate the effects of the spill. Teams of engineers evaluate all proposals that are submitted. And then some of the more promising technology proposals are field tested to demonstrate their capabilities.
